ABOUT SIMON MCGOWAN

Simon McGowan is the founder of Life Insurance Specialists and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) with more than a decade of experience in insurance and financial services. Born and raised in Colorado, Simon helps individuals, families, and business owners throughout the Denver metro area and Colorado find insurance solutions that fit their needs and financial goals.

Simon began his insurance career as a Financial Representative with COUNTRY Financial, working directly with individuals and families on their insurance and financial needs. He later joined Transamerica, where he served first as an Internal Wholesaler and then as a Regional Vice President, working with financial professionals and developing extensive experience with life insurance and retirement solutions.

He subsequently served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Rocky Mountain Insurance Network, an independent insurance organization. That experience gave Simon the opportunity to work across multiple insurance carriers and product lines rather than being limited to the offerings of a single company.

Today, through Life Insurance Specialists, Simon works directly with clients seeking life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care insurance, and annuities. As an independent insurance professional, he can evaluate products from multiple highly rated insurance companies and help clients understand the differences between their options.

His approach is simple: understand what the client is trying to accomplish, explain the available options in plain English, and help make an often-complicated process easier to navigate.
